Breeding
- Be polite and respectful to all other members.
- Speech between characters is allowed.
- Swearing is allowed in moderation.
- Fighting between characters is allowed, fighting between members is not and may result in being banned from the RPG.
- Take heed of anything that a member of staff tells you.
- There is no limit on the number of characters that you may join, so long as you can keep them all active.
- Horses are mature and may lead a herd, mate and fight from the age of three.
Stallions
- May claim a land and start a herd.
- May claim mares and foals to be a member of their herd.
- May decide whether or not to allow other stallions to have a place in their herd.
- Have breeding rights to any mares in their herd, though they may decide to have just one mate and allow their mares to take mates among the stallions in the herd.
Mares
- May not claim a land, but may lead a herd if they are appointed lead mare. If the lead stallion dies then they may retain leadership of the herd if they so wish.
- May breed once per year.
- Do not have to breed with their lead stallion if they do not want to.
Fighting
- All fights are judged by a member of staff.
- Fights can be over lands, positions, mares or foals.
- One attack per post.
- Each character gets one attack and one full dodge.
- You cannot kill another character in a fight unless the person who plays that character gives their permission.
Stealing
- Stallions may steal mares, mares may steal foals.
- To steal a horse you must post a riddle containing at least three references to the horse's name, herd or home.
- The lead stallion of the herd the horse is from will have four days in which to block the horse, which will prevent them from being stolen.
- Each lead stallion may only block one of their herd.
- After four days, if their lead stallion hasn't posted to block them then the horse must go with whoever stole them. To get them back their leader must either fight for them, or steal them back.
Breeding
- Breeding can happen anywhere, so long as you post the stats of the mother and the father on the Nativity board.
- The basic stats of the foal will be decided by a member of staff, though you are free to name the foal and decide their personality.
- There is no set time that a mare has to be pregnant for. As long as you have recieved the stats of your foal you may give birth whenever you like, within reason.
